treasures and artifacts to ensure that they had
a good life in the afterworld. To fend off
grave robbers, the tombs were said to be
cursed. The curse is called the curse of the
Pharaohs, and it goes like this: Death comes on
wings to he who enters the tomb of a Pharaoh.
This curse was also known as the curse of
Osiris and Isis.
